Appearance: Rei's two main colors are black and white. He has black hair with no ponytail and pointy black and gold headphones. He is often mixed up with Haine Ren due to his black look, but the main difference between them is that he has amber eyes, not gray. While Kagamine Len has a yellow tie, Rei has a white one. One of his sleeves is detached.

Personality: Kagene Rei is intelligent, but very antisocial and usually keeps to himself rather than open up to others. He’s very quiet to the point where other people wouldn’t even notice him or they simply ignore him. Often he’s found playing his grand piano, reading a book, or doing some puzzles in his spare time.
Rei is also a Yandere, though not as much as Rui, he’s a lot more gentle. You can say he’s probably one of the less violent ones. Usually he would just yell at you angrily if he gets into his Yandere moods, though if you go too far he does have a few tricks up his sleeve that could knock you out cold or possible death without causing a bloody mess. Otherwise, his basically a tsundere, or some others say, dandere.
Good stuff: If you manage to befriend him, he’s a lot more gentle and caring. If Rei really likes you, then he’ll protect you at all costs, just as he does with his sister, Rui.
Neutral stuff: None..?
Bad stuff: He can be quite rude and cold to others he’s not familiar with, just to keep people away from him or he’s simply not interested in being around you.

Another thing about Rei is he's completely dense when it comes to love. He knows friendship love and sibling love but as for having a partner, he doesn't know very much. About 99% of the time he's completely clueless and the other 1% would have to be pure luck for him to actually know.

"C'mon, slowpoke," she giggled. "Hurry up! The view is fantastic."

"I really don't see why you like this place so much..." Rei frowned as he followed Miku at a slow pace. He did not understand why anyone would want to be in such a bright place like this. The sunlight is hurting his eyes, and he was quite annoyed by Miku's energetic mood. Maybe if he brought a book along with him it might have been better, but Miku dragged him out before he could grab anything.
"Just what's so great about this anyway...?" He muttered under his breath.
