Name:Hiyama Kiyoteru
Age: 22
Sexuality: Eh... probably straight.
Appearance:
hair: Short and brown. Not a very memorable hairstyle.
eyes: Hazel
skin tone: Light, a bit darker than peach
height: 179 cm, 5'9''
body build (small, medium, large): Medium build
other: Very ordinary to the point where he's often forgotten. Something about those glasses and that plain smile. Though he has a good face, no one really seems to care that much. However when he takes his glasses off he ends up squinting, giving the impression that he's a cool, narrow-eyed guy.
Personality: Actually, Hiyama has a split personality. While he wears his glasses, he is a boring, sweet teacher who uses his singing talent to entertain small children and can never be found without a smile adorned on his face. But if by some chance you catch him without his glasses, he leans more to the character of a confident but somewhat sadistic man who seems to fit more into the role of a member of a rock band...
In front of other VOCALOID, he'll keep his glasses on.
Megane Hiyama
good stuff: Kind, patient, and good at mathematics. His sweet demeanour and ability to treat even younger children as equals has gained the respect of his class so even though he goes at his own pace and comes off as a bit strange at times, he doesn't have much issue keeping everyone in line. He is very sympathetic and always knows how to cheer up a person. Plus, he gives excellent advice as he takes in account the person's talents and personality to give the best answers.
neutral stuff: He's a forgettable character with barely any presence. He also gets nervous pretty easily.
bad stuff: Quite the pushover, really. He seems to have no will of his own, almost, and appears to be a wimp. Thankfully people don't really notice him or he'd be mugged. In addition, he doesn't do much besides studying because he says some quitter line like, "Oh, I wouldn't be good at it anyway," when it comes to sports.
other stuff you really want to add:
Megane-less Hiyama (note: glasses without the lens also count, as he enjoys to wear them often because he thinks girls like it)
good stuff: He's confident and secretly cares about others. He wouldn't hesitate to help a cat out of a tree but if you asked him to help he'd more than likely say no. He's strong-willed and will give a push to those weaker than him. Though he calls children "little brats", he likes kids and is a good entertainer. If he likes a girl, he'll likely pick on her a lot because he likes to see her cry, but if someone else did the same he'd protect her in a heartbeat. Very willing to try new things and will work hard to succeed at them.
neutral stuff: His presence is strong and he will stand out in a crowd, and bask in it too. Despite the confidence he exudes, when he's with his band-mates (he is the vocalist of Ice Mountain on weekends) he's actually pretty easy to tease and gets flustered easily with them.
bad stuff: His confidence probably goes past a high self-esteem and right onto narcissism. He's handsome and he knows it, unfortunately. In his mind, he has no problem gettin' himself a girl. He's also a bit of a sadist and might make a girl cry, or maybe become his temporary lackey. He's a terrible tutor because he may say things like, "Wow, you don't even get this?"
other stuff you really want to add:
Hobbies/Past Times/Likes/Dislikes/Interests:
Both versions like to sing, but Megane Hiyama will sometimes also accompany it with a bit of acoustic guitar, especially when singing songs for children. Megane Hiyama enjoys a hot cup of black coffee and doesn't care much for junk foods while Megane-less Hiyama prefers sweet snacks, his favourite being chocolate Pocky, but he hides it from his band-mates because he wants to give a cool impression. They know it, so they often give him coffee because they know he'll suffer in silence while he drinks it.
Roleplay Sample: (to help portray your muse's character)
Have your character respond to the following situation:
Miku (or Rin, if you are applying for a Miku) ran cheerfully ahead, her hands outstretched, feeling the wind. She stopped at the edge of the outlook where she closed her eyes and took a deep breath of fresh mountain air before turning around and waving energetically.
"C'mon, slowpoke," she giggled. "Hurry up! The view is fantastic."
Your sample:
Hiyama stumbled up the mountain path, gasping for breath. His knees felt like jelly and he couldn't even fathom how he'd made it up so high. To be a gentleman, he'd offered to carry Miku's bag for her earlier, but after not even ascending a quarter of the way he'd regretted his decision.
"I-I'm coming," he choked. He didn't even want to go hiking; he had to prepare a lesson plan for the next day, but Miku had begged and he couldn't say no. He slowly trudged over to stand next to the twin-tailed girl and tugged at his sweat-soaked shirt as he looked at the view.
"Wow," he breathed. The sun's rays peeked through fluffy white clouds, illuminating the valley, which was teeming with life. Tall trees spread towards a sparkling river, their leaves and branches rustling in the wind. Animals could be seen, going about their daily activities, and in the distance, a fish could be seen jumping from the stream which originated from a waterfall from the top of a cliff on the opposing side of the outlook where he currently stood.
He'd climbed for 3 hours for this?! Ugh, how he just wanted to go home already!
