Rei didn't bother to look at the students in the classroom at all. Unless they're assigned together for a project or something, he probably wouldn't even bother to know their names either. He simply see no point in wasting his time and trying to remember everyone's names. It's not like he'll talk to them. He just hopes he's seat will be where he's sitting now. The corner all the way in the back, by the window.

The bell sounded (and Mugi was still stuck in the gate) and all the students had managed to find a seat in time. Hiyama turned from the board and took a deep breath as he surveyed the room. Suddenly Rei caught his eye. Hiyama was pretty sure he recognized the boy.
It took some time, but Hiyama suddenly realized it was the kid whom Mugi had spilled his milk on. He was more focused on Mugi that day, even after Rei had slipped off. Well, it's not the boy's fault he had been crashed into so he wouldn't worry too much about it, even if he wasn't quite sure why he was by the assembly room's doors anyways.
Noticing that he was visibly staring at the student for despite the class sitting quietly in their seats already, Hiyama started and cleared his throat.
"Well," the teacher said. "My name is Hiyama Kiyoteru and welcome to classroom 1-B. Let's have everyone form a line, shall we? We'll pick numbers out of this bag and they'll correspond to where your seat is."
A student raised her hand and Hiyama amiably smiled and nodded in her direction. She got up and stood next to her seat before she spoke.
"Are we allowed to trade numbers with other people, Hiyama-sensei?"
Hiyama contemplated the question a bit before he answered. "Yes, you may, as long as both parties are willing."
The girl nodded and grinned at her friend, who had currently taken a desk next to her, before the whole class stood to form a line in front of Hiyama's desk.

Rei looked away as soon as the teacher's eyes landed on him. He could felt him staring. It seems like an hour passed before the teacher finally looked away. The teen took a silent breath of relief, then the teacher introduced himself and told everyone to get into a line.
'Hu, so his name is Hiyama Kiyoteru. Just my luck that he ended up being my sensei...' He thought as he stood up and followed everyone to form a line. Rei made sure to not go near everyone because he disliked physical contact. So apparently they could trade the numbers that they get. He wonders if whoever that got the corner back seat would be willing to trade with him.

((WOWEE SORRY I'VE BEEN BUSY))
Ruko rolled over in her comfortable bed, letting the warm sun wash over her body. She buried her face in her pillow to avoid the rays from burning her eyes.
"The sun feels so nice," Ruko mumbled to herself. Then it hit her. She sat up, eyes shooting open.
"I HAVE SCHOOL TODAY!"
There was a moment of silence.
"Ugh, forget it," Ruko groaned. She fell back into her mattress and pulled her comforter over her head. "It's too early for this shit."

Kokone fidgeted in her spot in line. She hoped she'd get a seat in front near the teacher. She heard students in front usually were the ones who go the highest grades.
"Please let me get a front row seat," she whispered to herself, eyes squeezed tightly shut. She repeated this over and over again to herself as she rocked back and forth on her heels. Then she paused, suddenly thinking, What would happen if I ended up next to that boy from yesterday?.
Kokone changed her mantra. "Please let me get a front row seat not next to that guy who doesn't want to be my friend."

Teto and Gumi got into the line to find their seat numbers and quietly chit-chated in line. "So where are you hoping to sit?" Gumi asked. Teto smiled brightly, "I wanna sit in the smack-dab middle of the classroom! Cause if I sit in the back I can't pay attention and if I sit in the front I will feel that Kiyoteru-sensei is a hawk, peering on my every move!" she said while pretending to be a hawk. Gumi giggled and nodded. "The middle is ideal, but I suppose I'd like to be in the second row closest to sensei. It is easier to hear and see!" Gumi pointed out. Teto and Gumi peered out the window and laughed to themselves. "I can't believe Mugi is still stuck in the gate." Teto remarked, her voice dripping with sarcasm. "He is just a big ball of clumsiness the first few days of school." Gumi said nonchalantly. Teto snrrked. "ONLY the first few days?!" she called Gumi out. "Okay, maybe he is always clumsy. But you are one to talk! You tripped on the walk to school today. Over a pencil, THAT YOU DROPPED!" Gumi pointed out in a joking manner. "Jeez! That was only an accident!"
((Sorry that my posts in this thread are kinda pointless at this point, I am trying to find a way to squeeze them into relevance!))

Rei stared at the wall while he waited for his classmates to hurry up and get a number. He certainly hoped that he doesn't get a front row seat, or in the middle. He just wants to be in the back. The corner by the window is the jackpot. There's nothing to do, and the people in front are taking forever. It's just a stupid number! He really doesn't get why it'd take so long for someone to just reach in and take a piece of paper. It's not like they could see the number on it anyway.

Mugi began to sweat nervously as he tugged desperately to remove his sleeve from the gate. There was no point; he was a stuck as he could be. The teacher that closed the gate sighed and shook his head.
"Mu--"
Before the teacher could begin his lecture, the green-haired idiot ripped off his blazer and tore away from the scene as fast as he could, bolting to the entrance. The process of switching to indoor shoes, charging upstairs, and making his way to the classroom probably took a record short time or at least under 2 minutes.
When the correct hallway was in view, Mugi immediately began to scream.
"SOOOOOOOOOOOOORRYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY IIIIIIIIIIII'M..." Mugi hollered as he approached the classroom. When he slammed the door open, he was still yelling, "LAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATE!"
And there he stood in the doorway, out of breath with all the students staring at him like he was a madman.

When the door slammed, Kokone nearly dropped the slip of paper she had grasped in her hand. She, along with the rest of the class, stared dumbfounded at the panting teenager. Hiyama's smile twitched slightly as he slowly turned towards the door.
"Welcome, Mugi-san," he said softly with a slightly strained smile. "I'm glad you decided to join us. We were just about to assign seats. Why don't you get in line?"
Meanwhile, the other teacher (the one who had closed the gate) came barreling down the hallway. When he reached the classroom door, he bent forward and clutched his gut as he gasped and wheezed.
"M-mu..." he managed to force out of his mouth. "M..."
He glanced at Hiyama, and figuring he would cover the issue, waved his hand and slowly shuffled away.
There were a few moments of awkward silence before the students began to chat to each other again.

"Ha.. hahah..." Mugi laughed softly, gasping and shaking slightly from the strain that morning. "Y..yeah, yes, Sensei." He didn't even look at the teacher's face, missing the fact that it was Kiyoteru Hiyama, the teacher he managed to tangle with EVERY YEAR.
Once he took his place at the end of the line, Mugi began to scan the classroom in search of students he knew. Hm... For some reason the black haired kid struck him as familiar but Mugi couldn't place it. Oh, right! It most likely was the guy at the convenience store. Though our beloved dim-wit remember the man being somewhat in his twenties, it was probably an error in his memory. That was it. Yeah. Mugi continued his perusal of the selection of his fellow pupils. That's when his eyes rested on the lovely Gumi and the stunning Teto.
"Pssssst!" Mugi tried to get their attention. Not only were they people he recognized, but they were cute too. Mugi began to hope for a seat next to them. "Hey! Psst! What's up!"

"Your clumsiness is up!" Teto replied to Mugi with a giggle and a wink. Gumi slightly nudged her in the gut for the rude comment. "Ouch! Whatcha do that for, Gumi-san?" Teto grimaced, clutching her stomach. "You shouldn't be so mean to Mugi-kun! He is our friend as well." Gumi said. She turned towards Mugi and smiled. "Sorry for that. Nothing much is up, vacation just ended. But to be frankly honest, I didn't vacation much. I was too busy playing the new fantasy MMORPG that came out!" she laughed nervously while scratching her head. Teto shook her head, "Gumi, always into your fantasy nonsense and you call me immature!" "Well you are something of a hypocrite. You called Mugi clumsy when you are much clumsier." Gumi stated in monotone. Teto turned bright red, knowing it was true. "J-just shut up! We are almost at the front!" Teto stuttered. Gumi giggled and smiled in Mugi's direction.
