Despite how seeing something in the distance is considered relatively close, a teenager with low stamina would most definitely be unable to run the entire way without stopping to catch his breath at least three times. Mugi did not have low stamina. He has NO stamina. The green-haired adventurer collapsed after less than a minute of running, and then walked the rest of the way.
The stay at the village was brief, but refreshing. Mugi guzzled what felt like half of the village's well, and a nice lady provided him with a loaf a bread in which Mugi devoured the whole thing on the spot. After he rested for a few minutes, Mugi stretched and continued his way. As enticing as the idea of staying in the village was, Aelmoor was where life started, and Aelmoor was the way to go!

It had been forever since Mugi took part in this journey. Nothing but monotony surrounded Mugi. Dirt road, grass, trees, sky, a dead person, clouds, more trees, some flowers, wait a skeleton?! There was a rotting corpse along the road. Flies continued to pick off some of the putrid flesh, and a powerful stink cut into Mugi's nostrils. Oh. Okay. Mugi carefully sidestepped around this gross landmark and started to walk away.

Rei dashed down the mountain and into the forest. He quietly and quickly jumped from tree to tree, making no noise at all. Within a few minutes, he was more than half-way through the forest.
The teen continued on his way until he saw a figure walking up ahead. He jumped closer, and examined the scene. A tired female traveler it seems. He considered the option of snatching something from her, but then it doesn't seem like she has much. Rei'd much rather steal from a fat merchant who has too much to spend.
He glanced at the figure a second more before continuing on his way to the city.
((Ahh, some description of the city would be nice ne? owo ))

Gumi did it, she finally reached Aelmoor. It was a big city, many horse-drawn carriages and pedestrians strolling about. But that also meant thieves and conmen, so she would have to stay on guard. She tightened her bustier and buttoned up the top button of her shirt. She quickly strolled down the trail of bricks that directed everyone, looking for a shop or merchant.

Finally, Aelmoor, or at least that was what the sign had said. The capitol was huge and magnificent. Mugi breath caught in his throat at the glorious sight, and he quickly coughed and tried an attempt at a dramatic gasp.
The white looming walls seemed to glisten in the sunlight and huge amounts of people on foot and on carriages entered and left the gates to the city. There were people of all sorts of races, including non-humans, and traders of many goods trailed in.
Mugi jogged over to the entrance of the city gates and took a deep breath before joining the entering crowd. Two intimidating guards stood at either side of the opening, but they watched the mob and did nothing more. Their spears caught the light of the sun, the tips giving Mugi a little shudder as he thought about how deep into a human body those things could probably find their way through.
As the horde pushed and shoved their way around, Mugi found himself simply being carried along the herd, like a leaf floating in a creek. Except it was not quite so calm and he was most definitely going to sink into this mass of kicking and chattering and OW! Shoving!
"Dying.. someone.. help..!" Mugi choked out some cries of need, but unfortunately, they were lost in the loud hustling and bustling of city life. He would journey this far, only to die of being trampled. Good bye, cruel world..
Suddenly, the ground pitched up close, and Mugi was sprawled on the ground, the other folks starting to spread in the widening road. The clatter of the 15 gold coins in Mugi's pouch striking the sidewalk was mostly unheard, but the little adventurer immediately knew this was trouble.
Mugi could have sworn he picked up the cash in record speed, but when he counted what was in his hand, he only recovered 12 of the coins. Even worse, just as he dropped his leftover money back into the sack, a kid literally crashed into him, snatched up the bag, and disappeared in the crowd.
"You little--" The robbing victim scrambled to his feet and desperately fought in the wave of people, vegetable carts, merchants, children, this one sexy lady who called any potential customer "big boy", and some random men who called him some really hurtful names.
As he charged after that little thief, Mugi didn't even get to enjoy the sights of the many market stalls and (after some running) the houses compressed into one another, the huge castle in the distance (center of the city), or even all those chickens he nearly tripped over.
"HEY, KIIIIIIID!" Mugi hollered as loud as he could, not that it would actually help or anything. "GIVE ME MY MONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEY!"

((I'm sorry for updating twice in a row omg i just love fantasy way too much someone shoot me))
"Dammit," Mugi gasped, scanning the crowd. There were way too many people and way too much going on to tell where the little brat sneaked off to. The boy panted and swallowed in the not-so-fresh city air and continued to walk, checking in barrels to see if the kid hid somewhere.
Tapping on the barrels, the green-haired teenager, slowly and carefully listened for a sound of fullness when suddenly a barrel fell over and barreled ((hahahaha, GET IT?!)) over Mugi. A small willowy little boy tore down the street, still carrying what was obviously the stolen coin pouch.
"I got you now!" Mugi screeched, scrambling up and hounding upon the child. "Give me my money, you thief!"
The chase was cut short, though, as the little boy smashed into a green haired girl. Mugi, with slow reaction skills, barreled ((couldn't help it)) straight into Gumi as well, tripping over the mess and skidding face first on the pavement.

Rei watched the crowd as they entered the city. He definitely didn't want to be in the middle of that.
The teen watched the city from the top of a tall tree. When a flash of green hair in the crowd caught his eyes. That traveler from before? Apparently not, this was a male. Rei watched as the figure get shoved between the crowd and eventually get swallowed up. He raised an eyebrow. Well that must've been a pretty bad experience.
He sighed as he looked around. The several carts and horses that are going in could provide a pretty good landing place. The teen studied the placements then jumped down from the tree and onto a cart, earning a shout from the owner. He paid no mind and jumped to the next and the next until he was in the city. Many shouting and complaints followed. The teen just rolled his eye and leaped on top to the roof of a house.
"HEY, KIIIIIIID! GIVE ME MY MONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEY!" The sudden shouting caught the teen's attention. 'Oh?' He looked towards the noise with curiosity. Apparently it was the green haired kid from before. Rei wondered how he escaped that crowd. He studied the scene and learned that the green haired male was chasing a small kid. Probably the thief who stole his money, there was a small pouch in the kid's hands. Stealing doesn't actually bother Rei because he steals most of the time, but stealing from people that's already having a hard time makes him frown.
The teen followed them on the rooftops out of curiosity, not really planning on doing anything. He watched as the little boy hid in a barrel and the teen looking around, lost. The green haired teen tapped around a few barrels when the kid suddenly broke out from his barrel and ran down the streets.
He raised a eyebrow as he saw another figure with green hair. Oh, this time it was the traveller from before. The thief and the teen both slammed right into her. Rei gave out a slight snigger. This was quite an amusing show. Not bad for a first day in the city.

"Not a chance!" Teto replied in a tomboyish tone. Her drillcurls tucked in a hat to avoid getting them caught in something (it happens more than you think it would). She dashed through the city, with a strong grip on the pouch of coins. She was almost about to get away, but then she crashed into another green-haired ditz. Teto landed right next to the girl, her face skinned by the rough pavement.
"Oof!" Gumi croaked as the two strangers smashed into her. She fell to the ground and knocked the breath out of her. She sat in shock and confusion. What was going on? Who were these two? "Well that hurt..." She said outloud, trying to get a response out of them.

((Oooooh, clever, making Teto the kid! www And it's okay, Rei, I have a tendency to go on a tangent so..))
Mugi pushed himself off the ground, gingerly caressing his wounded face. There was pain, lots of pain, and a little bit of blood? Oh, god, would it scar? He touched his cheeks, his chin, then his nose and realized that there were minor scrapes, but the blood came from his nose. And, cripes, it HURT!
"Well, that hurt..." a girl's voice mumbled rather indignantly, snapping Mugi's attention. A young lady with pale, smooth skin, green hair, and glistening emerald eyes was sitting on her shapely butt(where else would you sit) and watching Mugi with confusion.
Mugi got to his feet in one swift movement and bowed in a rather ridiculous fashion before reaching his hand out to help this lovely lady. ((What a moron.))
"N-n-nice to meet you, madam! I am known as Mugi!" he coughed into his sleeve. I am known as Mugi? Really? That was implying he was actually something else, wasn't it? "I apologize for causing you any trouble! I was uh.. just.. uh..."
The kid from earlier caught his eye and reminded him his earlier goal. "I, uh... IT'S YOU!" Mugi dove down and grabbed the kid by the shoulders, shaking him (not realizing it was a her) by the shoulders. "Where's my money? Hey! Stealing is against the law! Give it back!"
The bag had fallen on the ground from the disaster, so after a few wasted seconds of harassing Teto, the boy snatched up his previously stolen pouch and raised it above his head triumphantly. His gold was retrieved once more!

Meanwhile, deep in a forest, a few leagues from Aelmoor, a man with pink hair and dirty clothing leaned over a rotting log. He was examining the mushrooms growing from it, their bright colors making the atmosphere seem a little lighter.
He ignored the rustling of the bushes as a rabbit made its way home and the squirrels making their way through the trees. In fact, he was utterly engrossed in his examination of the fungus and did not move from the spot even when the shifting leaves let sunlight filter in and shine into his eyes. (Though he blinked heavily from the dazzling pain.)
After a few minutes of pondering, the man reached over and plucked a blue mushroom with greenish tinges (already a bad sign) and bit off the entire cap. He chewed thoughtfully and swallowed, only to immediately cough it up, the crushed up mushroom making hot hissing sounds.
"Poisonous..." the man muttered quietly. "But delicious..."
He popped the stem in his mouth and soon coughed that up as well.
((EHEHEHEHE AHAHAHHE EHEHEHE... *cue very guilty laughing*))

Gumi grabbed his hand and with his help got on her feet. She smiled at him, cause wowee he was cute, and wiped the dirt off her butt. "Thank you for helping me up." Gumi piped.
Meanwhile, before Mugi could grab the pouch she managed to steal five coins and made a run for it after the harassment. Her hat fell off, revealing her drill curls as she sprinted to the other side of the town.
