Rei walked out of the shop and looked around. He was getting a little hungry. The teen walked around and saw a general shop/bakery..? He shrugged and walked over, except two females almost ran over him on his way there. He quickly leaped back from the running and screaming females. What the heck was that? He squinted at the two figures as they rushed into the store that he was about to go into. Oh hey, it's that woman who demanded money from him. He sighed and shrugged. Whatever. Except he doesn't want to go into the store while she's in there. He met her once, and is perfectly fine with that being the last.
He decided to wait outside and look around the streets. Oh look, it's those two green haired teens from before. Seems like they're headed for the store too. Rei turned his head and observed something else.

"Thanks a bunch, ma'am," Kokone chirped cheerfully, placing the two gold coins on the counter before she hugged the paper bag to her chest. "Ooh, it's nice and warm."

"Great," Ruko said, wiping a bit of drool that had escaped the corner of her mouth. That bread smelled good and she was getting pretty hungry after walking all day. "Let's eat it while we walk."

Kokone agreed with Ruko's idea and tore two chunks off of the loaf, one for each girl, and they began to eat as they left the store. Ruko practically shoved the piece in her mouth and was already swallowing by the time they were walking the street again. Hey, that kid over there, looking nonchalantly away from them... He seemed familiar.

"Oh," Ruko snapped her fingers at the recollection, while Kokone glanced at her new friend curiously. "That's the kid I extorted money from."

"E-extorted? That's awful!"

"Uh, well he stole it from some fat bastard, and then I stole it from him, so, uh--"

Kokone shook her head, not willing to listen to Ruko's awful excuse.

"He probably needs the money more than we will," Kokone said in a sympathetic tone. "I bet he lives on the streets, cold and hungry, stealing as a means to survive!"

"He seems a bit well-dressed for someone living on the str--"

"Oh, the poor boy! He must be miserable and lonely! We need to help him! Oh, Ruko, you have to return the money to him, and maybe we can invite him to live with us too!"

"What part of him is miserable?"

The brown-haired girl ignored her friend, grabbing her by the hand and forcibly dragging her towards Rei. Of course Kokone lacked the strength to actually move Ruko, but Ruko followed along--just to humour her.

"Little boy," Kokone's voice sounded so patronizing that even Ruko winced, despite the words not being aimed towards her. "This big girl over here is sorry for earlier and wants to apologize." This big girl rolled her eyes so far back she could see her brain turning into mush.

"Sorry," she mumbled. "Here."

She held out her hand, which had the coins inside.

"Now do you want to come live with us? We can be your big sisters!"

As Gumi carefully safeguarded her money bag, Mugi had not learned his lesson at all and let his wallet dangle openly on his belt. Even worse off, instead of paying any attention whatsoever to his bag, he took in all the sights around him, oohing and aahing at strangely dressed men and woman or neither (and quickly avoiding eye contact with a rather busty prostitute).

It didn't take long at all to enter the close-by store and Mugi barely even noticed all the screaming. After all, that must be normal in the city.

"Hellooooo!" Mugi pushed open the door to the store and entered. "We are two travelers and want to purchase supplies.. and such! Do you have any good recommendations? Since, er.. I'm sort of new to this thing."

There was no sense beating around the bush. Mugi had never left his own village before and knew nothing of how to survive in the outside world.

Rei was about to go into the store after the two females left before he was interrupted by the brown-haired girl that just came out.

"Little boy," The girl said, "This big girl over here is sorry for earlier and wants to apologize." The tall woman rolled her eyes, she was obviously not sorry.

"Sorry," The woman who took money from him mumbled. "Here." She held out her hand, which had the coins inside.

"Now do you want to come live with us? We can be your big sisters!" The other girl added.

Uh. What?

"Um...You can keep the coins..." He muttered, with the mod feeling guilty that Rei is always treating Kokone so unfriendly, "I'll pass on the offer..."

He quickly entered the store, right after the two green-haired teens had entered and almost bumped right into them.

    Gumi felt the whoosh of air behind them and turned to see a boy with rather dark hair behind them. He seemed distant and somewhat unnoticeable. Wait, wasn't he near them while the loser Mugi was getting mugged? She turned and faced forward and looked at the woman who appeared to be in charge of the store. Just as she was about to speak up Mugi began yapping loudly. She sighed and covered his mouth with her hand. She turned towards him and shushed him as she used her other hand to pull him towards the counter where the woman was.
    "Let me handle this Mugi..." she said quietly and removed her hand. She leaned in to talk with the woman and she quickly pushed 20 gold coins towards her.
"May I get one-" she began, then looked at Mugi.
"...Make that TWO health potions and three power potions?" Gumi asked quietly. Haku nodded and reached under the counter and pulled out a paper bag with a few colorful concoctions in it.
    "What do you kids need these for?" Haku asked. Gumi shook her head, "These are just for me... I think. I am going to try to find the mysterious treasure in that mountain." She said.
"Haha. Ya rascal, don't forget to get food, water, and other supplies kid." Haku said. Gumi nodded as she got the bag of potions and pulled Mugi along to grab supplies.
"What supplies do you need Mugi?  I can help you find them." She stated.

Mugi scratched his chin shyly, suddenly unsure what he wanted. This girl, a possible treasure hunter, was offered him help, and was looking at him expectantly. He needed to act fast or this could get really awkward.

"Oh, em, I'd like a potion of speed and one of power.. and a bar of beeswax.." he coughed out, trying to think of what to get. He almost contemplated asking for an umbrella before he remember what his father said to him a long time ago when they went hunting.

"Take only the bare minimum," he had grunted, smacking Mugi's toy horse from his hands. "If you carry too much you're just going to tire yourself out."

Mugi shut his mouth and made sure not to ask for that umbrella.

So it's not just a bakery, but a supply store hu? Rei looked around curiously. He saw the girl buying a few potions and then heard her saying something about a mysterious treasure in the mountains. Listening in on conversations was just something he did out of habit. You never know what you might learn.

Supplies...Does he need supplies? The teen wondered and looked around. Backpacks? No, his belt pouch was enough. Umbrella? Who would buy this for traveling? Maps? He has no destination in mind and he knows the land quite well... Clothes he obviously need no more of, and he really couldn't think of anything he wants to buy. Other than a potion that the store possibly could have.

Rei went to the store owner, the lady has some really long silver hair. "Do you happen to have the potion of darkness level max...?" The teen asked quietly. The potion allowed the user to turn into the shadows and move as silent as the night. They would be able to shadow-travel (Taken from PerJac) if they were to become the shadow form. However, the potion was very rare and had many different levels of power. Only the strongest level of the potion would allow the user to shadow-travel, and that was something Rei would like to do again.
